Reading update #1

I’m currently reading Wolf Gone Wild by Juliette Cross and I gotta say it’s taken me a week to get through the first 100 pages. More than a week actually. I’m just very uninvested in this story. It’s borderline putting me into a reading slump. I usually read during my commute to and from work, during my lunch breaks, and at night before bed, and I’ve barely picked up this book during any of those times. The story sounds interesting – wolves and witches are enemies but when a wolf hasn’t been able to shift, his only hope is a witch whose presence alone helps calm his inner wolf. I do like that this book is dual-POV and that the inner wolf, Alpha, is its own character. I’m hoping the plot starts to pick up now that I’m 100 pages in. The banter is good and there is good chemistry between the FMC and MMC.
